2018 TOYOTA SEQUOIA RELEASE DATE, REDESIGN

05/23/2017 Update: 2018 Toyota Sequoia debut in 2017 Chicago Auto Show in its TRD sportswear. This model is intended to attract new customers and satisfy people who are loyal to an interesting new look. The Toyota Sequoia version comes with a middle cycle facelift that will cover all ranks. The updated model will be in the showroom at the end of September, so we waited for a while before arriving. What makes the TRD Sport version of Sequoia stand out is a specially set Bilstein shock and the All-New Front front / rear anti-sway bar that will greatly affect handling and cornering this SUV behavior.

New Sequoia will be available in super white, magnetic or black black color. In advance, you will see a new look in the front fascia seasoned with a large grille. Other important details include 20-inch alloy wheels, black mirror lid, Smoke Tailmp lens, and Trd sports badges distributed across the vehicle. Inside, the black trace continues across the seat, all seven seats, shifter, floor mats, and door frames. TD Sport Trim will be positioned between SR5 and is limited and therefore it will also have skin details inside. From other features, it will be equipped with an entune premium audio with integrated navigation, front seat power, third-line seating lying / folding and more. All this will come as part of the SR5 style premium package.

Regarding the engine lineup, everything will remain the same. In all trim, you will find 5.7 liters I-Force V-8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The bay machine is the only place in the car where nothing has changed. Just move from it, you will find new LED headlights, DRL fog lights, and customized grille inserts that each complement various exterior colors. In the cabin, there is a new trim, revised console, a redesigned instrument cluster enhanced by new multi-information display. Seeing the safety and driver of the car, there are some changes too. They mostly focus on the Toyota star security system that has been upgraded by adding more advanced TSS-P (Toyota Safety System). This system includes features such as lane departure warnings, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams and dynamic radar shipping control. All of this is available in all trim (SR5, Limited and Platinumtrd Sport).

There is no price set for Sequoia Toyota 2018. More will be known when the SUV approaches the release date in September.

01/13/2017 reviews: Full size SUV market will be far more competitive in the coming years. Nissan released a new fleet, GM released two new models a few years ago and both Ford and Toyota will release a new car too. We will now peek at the small 2018 Toyota Sequoia which will be arranged to replace the model released again in 2007. The new car will be released along with a new tundra that has passed the expiration date. So far Toyota has not offered information about two models but it seems they are actually a test mules test. This is likely to use old sheets so as not to attract attention.

New Sequoia – More Details

The upcoming sequoia will be a completely new model. For starters, it will use the chassis found in the new tundra. This will mostly come out of high strength steel but it seems that some aluminum parts are possible. The body will mostly be made of steel but some items such as fenders, doors, trucks or even hoods may be made of aluminum. Thanks to it, the weight of the car can fall from 5,700 pounds currently to less than 5,000 pounds. In this case it will be one of the lighter models that will enable better performance, fuel consumption and comfort. The release date is likely to be set in the second half of 2018 with the production version coming shortly after that.

Toyota Sequoia Design 2018

The ongoing model looks quite identical to the original tundra. However, the truck has been revised but the SUV is not. The reason for this is unknown but it seems that Toyota thinks the new line found in trucks will not be suitable. Toyota Sequoia 2018 that will come on the other hand will receive all new designs. Just as Ford will provide a new look expedition, Sequoia is expected to depart a little of the truck. The front end is likely to accept the appearance that is more like a car, it is likely to be similar to what Highlander laid. In terms of size, the new model must be similar to the current generation.

In the new Sequoia cabin

While the car today does not lack fancy features, it is too similar to his truck’s partner. This new model is expected, once again, accepts a completely new design. It will also receive the latest Toyota technology that debuted on their crossover such as the frontal collision warning and more. So far, it seems that this machine will produce 400 horsepower and 325 lb-ft torque which is a bit too less for truck-based SUVs. However, considering it is a turbocharged factory, it is likely to be able to provide more than that. Still to be seen what the actual product can be offered. Choice transmission is likely to be eight automatic speeds. At this point it seems that the towing capacity is around 7,000 pounds more than possible. The rear wheel drive will be standard while all the drive wheels will still be available as options.
