FORD BRONCO CONCEPT TRICK OR THREAT?
Questions and mysteries swirl the possibility of a return for the Ford Bronco. The off-road warriors hope that the robust and elegant conceptual car presented at the Detroit Auto Show in 2004 finally becomes a reality, but Ford has neither confirmed nor refused rumors for a new Bronco in 2017 or 2018. Ford interrupted production Crossover SUV in 1996 to be replaced by the expedition on the Total SUV market. The concept of 2004 never participated in the production that Ford focused on the third generation escape instead.
New Bronco Power train
The 2004 conceptual vehicle could be a closer to reality by relying on the current F-150 platform. Additional rumors suggest that when Ford will not bring the Bronco, one of their partners in Atlanta will reveal a brushed style body on the F-150 platform. Other possible platforms for the new Bronco could be shared with the Ford Explorer or Ranger.
The 2004 concept model offered three engine choices. Possible motors include an inter-cooled 2.0L engine, a four-cylinder engine or a Turbo diesel engine. Its power of 128 horses should provide a lot of power to tackle all the lands of the city that lead to boulder crawling. The powerful motor is associated with a six-speed manual transmission. Other chatted motor choices include borrowing engines from the current F-150, such as a 3.0 L TWIN V-8 engine or a 3.5 L Turbo V-6. The use of Eco-boost fuel technology should improve fuel economy, but there is no specification for mileage of gas at that time. All engine choices should work with a four-wheel drive intelligent system that will allow the Bronco to easily go easily.
Ford Bronco redesign
The retro style creates an appearance boxed with a large chrome grille and round headlights. The hard frame combined with the large aluminum wheels of eighteen inches and all terrain tires help the Bronco fight against any terrain without fear. It continues sports only two doors rather than the design of four more popular dour found on other SUVs. The interior style will include improvements to more luxurious materials and updated technology.
Ford Bronco price and release date
The prices planned for the Ford Bronco possibly will probably begin at $ 26,000. However, additional specifications and equipment could increase the price up to $ 45,000. Since Ford remains calm on the possible return, there is no release date available. Unfortunately, the Bronco does not appear on the Ford website with the other new releases announced for 2017 or even 2018. Bronco fans should have to dream a little longer before you can hunt this off-road classic road work horse .
